Diary of a Wimpy Kid is the most far-out best selling book of the year.I love this book because of the characters in the book always getting into some embarrassing situations.For example when there star goalie gets hurt, Greg Heffly has to go in and fill in the position for his teammate.Well it doesn't turn out so good for Greg because he got distracted with the tulips on the side of the net and an opponent from the other team kicks an astonishing fifty yard long goal and they lose the game .But that isn't the only thing: he lies to his dad that he had done his best and did everything he could to stop the soccer ball .But that plan doesn't work out because it comes out in the newspaper saying,'' that Greg took a break from the action while they kicked a fifty-foot yard long goal to end Sock's perfect season.''Greg's dad is ashamed and embarrassed of Greg because the guys at work keep making fun of him.

Greg is such a funny,wimpy,and embarrassing kid, but he is funny to read about.It is hysterical when him and his best friend Rowlie get into trouble and do dumb things.


Jeff Kinney is such a great writer because he makes the funniest characters ever.His books are funny to read and they interest you because of the wacky things they do.You have to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid because you will fall in love with this book.
