PHILOSOPHY FOR LIFE

EARTH, WIND, FIRE AND WATER    As much as humans would like to think they are in charge, it is not so. We are nothing more than another species living on the face of the earth. Like all others, we are subject to the laws and rules set by nature.   No matter how much technology is developed by mankind, he will never gain the upper hand and be in charge of nature. Think about that for a moment. The worst man can be is when he goes to war; Terrible weapons of mass destruction are unleashed by both…See More

WHAT IS LEARNING?

Computers, as great as they are, without a program to tell them what to think about become nothing more than a machine with no purpose. But they do have purpose. They help mankind think his way through deep thoughts and expand his memory with incredible speed. Install a program in the hard drive or insert a CD and the computer knows what it is that you would like it to think about. Connect one computer to another with a couple of wires and the computers can transfer information back and…See More

Riding the rain

Riding the RainA short Story Written by: Rick BoutcherRecall a time riding my bike up Route 17 heading towards Roscoe, New York. I was totally ripped and truly enjoying the vibration of the bike as well as the sound that was following.I was for sure a free spirit, leaning back into the leather covered seat pan, booted feet up on the highway bars, my hands so very comfortably wrapped around the re-curve handle bars. My black skull cap helmet, mirrored sunglasses, full black leathers and black…See More

Profile Information

How would you describe your work?
My work, writings, are representations of my life which has been rather colorful. I have been in the Military, fought in Vietnam for three and a half years, been an Electrical Systems Design Engineer and have taught Electrical Physics in both New York City and Saudi Arabia.
I am now retired, am 64 years old and living in the Philippines with my very beautiful Filipina Wife, Priny.
I have always love to write but never had the time. But now that I am retired, well I find that time now belongs to me.
Not looking to become a famous novelist, just looking for a nice place to share my stories and enjoy the lives of others.
