Pamela's Wings (Draft #7)
I glare as it flutters in the sky,
looking free as it glides.
An explosion of colors passes by,
right before my very eyes.
I wonder how it might have been at first,
a caterpillar on a leaf.
But eyeing it soar like that,
I felt pure happiness and no grief.
I crouch down in my moist meadow
(making sure i dont get wet),
and so I wonder,
how she survived a place so gray,
before I remember how butterflies
