- How would you describe your work?
- I have written one YA novel and an MG fantasy novel. I am currently in the middle of another YA novel. I have a children's story published online and several adult stories and a memoir also published online. I am a member of two critique groups and RealWritingTeachers on which I am a Co-Moderator. Also I have currently started writing a blog which is about my thoughts about writing and other things called Barbara's Meanderings on blogger. I have several reviews on Muse Book Reviews and Ace Writers.

My YA novel is being published
After five years of trying to get it published my YA novel, If I Could Be Like Jennifer Taylor, is being published next year by MuseItUp Publishing!!!! I think this is something I have always thought would happen, but now that it is a reality it is still very much a dream! It will be in e-book form for a year and then it will be in print.

My children's story, "The Trouble with Follow the Leader"
Hi everyone,
Barry said I could put my writing here so I thought I'd start with the only story I've ever sold. This is a children's story and it comes straight from my life. As you read it I hope you can see some connections for using it with your classes. I would love to have any of you use it. If you do decide to use it, please let me know.
