Barry,

Will you please post the proof reading marks page that you showed at the conference? I would love to share it with my students.

Thanks

Hi Sandy,

We haven't worked on the document, though we all tweaked it in our own classrooms.   If you have a copy of what changes you made, we'd love to share another version!

I was wondering if you and your buddies have revamped the lesson plans from last summer. I used them and thought they were great!  I thought that since we have all been put through the actual test that the plans may have changed!!!

Pet peeves, shopping list, topics of conversation, things you own that you're glad are yours, things you can do (that you couldn't do when you were a baby), things you've heard about from the news....

Those are the "gritty life quick list," and each one has a text structure.  If they're not posted as "gritty life text structures," I'll post them.

I am looking for the quicklist that Gretchen has done at some of her staff developments.  It has pet peeves, shopping list items, etc.  Can someone send me that if you have it?  Thank you!

Gretchen,

Where is your "super simplified" STAAR writing rubric?

Here's the link to Heinemann's reproducibles that go with Crunchtime.  Apologies to those of you who have experienced difficulties finding it!

As always the Lane-Bernabei team have done it again--fabulous non-fiction strategies.  I will be sharing several of these with teachers next month! Particularly intrigued by the Infoshots.  I'll look on trailofbreadcrumbs to see if Gretchen share how she teaches this.  Thank you for your generous sharing and your briliant teaching strategies!

Janet,

Gretchen has a new book coming out from Heinemann that includes info shots and  her new work.  Keep your eyes peeled.

What a great idea, Barry!  I'm glad we'll be able to continue our seminar conversations here.  Thank you for setting this up!
