I love this book! I love Alan's spirit and his refusal to be silent when he sees something happen that he doesn't believe in. Alan writes with courage and humor. I haven't finished the book yet, so I'd love to discuss this with others.
If you haven't read Alan's YA books, then do. I have just finished the whole series (out of order because students were reading the ones I wanted when I wanted them) and I found each to be quite a portrait of teenage life. Sonia was probably my favorite. Thanks for books I recommend with great passion, Alan.
