Thanks Hilda. Gretchen and I are working on some great new stuff to help with STAAR without turning it into a formula writing situation. There are unique challenges due to the brevity of the writing required for STAAR which we are addressing in the workshop, but also emphasizing the importance of student choice and engagement throughout.
This year we will both be there for two days, each of us tag team presenting with each other each day. We feel this will give the workshop a better flow and provide more time to interact with the participants. We look forward to seeing you.

I benefited so much from last year's institute, that I want to recruit a few more to join me in San Antonio this year, especially to see the new STAAR techniques.
